With the recent instability of the Extreme Scene's booking, we were unsure if there was still a show or not. We were given the opportunity to take over and handle it ourselves, but considering our own instability (our vocalist situation), we declined.

So, the show for October 21st at the Extreme Scene has been CANCELED. However, we will still be performing at Reetmania; the benefit show on Saturday, November 17th at the BRYCC House. Be sure to check it out as it will be our final gig until a new vocalist is in place. See the SHOWS page for details.

Although our differences seem to be irreconcilable, Allen has agreed to play the remaining shows that we have booked. Be sure to check us out in this "endangered" form while you still can.

After much soul searching and loss of sleep, Allen has decided to leave our band. No love is lost. We wish him well. Good luck finding whatever it is you're looking for.

Algae is still in full effect, however. Though we must take some time to step back and re-adjust, we will still be performing the shows that are currently booked— featuring Todd on lead vocals and bass until we can find a suitable replacement.

Reetmania has just been announced to be a benefit show to raise funds for victims of the tragedies that took place on September 11, 2001. May the dead rest in peace, and may the living stay strong to fight for the futures of their children.

The show for Saturday, September 22nd, has been canceled. More accurately, it was never booked. Once again it appears that we have been lead to believe that we were to perform with some good friends and good bands... only to find out that the venue was never made aware that we were coming. This seems to be a pattern. Without pointing fingers or calling anyone out, just know that we will NEVER deal with this individual again, no matter how he is involved in the mix. It's just a good thing that we did not find all this out as we were loading all of our equipment in.
